The Federal College of Education Gwoza, invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its Pre-NCE Programme — a preparatory course designed for entry into the full Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programme.
Admission into the NCE programme is through JAMB (UTME). Candidates are expected to sit for JAMB, select FCE Gwoza as their first choice, and meet the minimum cut-off mark.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission into the Pre-NCE Programme at the Federal College of Education Gwoza, candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

SSCE/NECO: Minimum of three (3) credit passes and two (2) passes in not more than two sittings. Credit passes must include English Language and two (2) other relevant subjects.

Teacher’s Grade II Certificate (TC II): Minimum of three (3) credits/merits in relevant subjects, including at least a pass in English Language.
Admission Procedures
1. Admission into Pre-NCE Programme:

Pre-NCE application forms are free of charge.

Forms can be obtained at the College premises or downloaded from the official College website.

Completed forms must be submitted along with photocopies of relevant academic credentials to the Admission Office.
2. Admission into NCE Programme (via JAMB):

Admission into the College’s NCE Programme is conducted through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Candidates must:

Sit for the UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination).

Choose FCE Gwoza as their institution of first choice.

Attain a minimum score of 100 in the UTME.

Possess five (5) credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings of SSCE, NECO, or equivalent.

3. Bridge via Pre-NCE:

The College offers the Pre-NCE Programme as a preparatory platform for candidates who may have deficiencies in their O-level qualifications.
