FCE Gwoza.

To be eligible for admission into the Pre-NCE Programme at the Federal College of Education Gwoza, candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• SSCE/NECO: Minimum of three (3) credit passes and two (2) passes in not more than two sittings. Credit passes must include English Language and two (2) other relevant subjects.

• Teacher’s Grade II Certificate (TC II): Minimum of three (3) credits/merits in relevant subjects, including at least a pass in English Language.

1. Admission into Pre-NCE Programme:

• Pre-NCE application forms are free of charge.

• Forms can be obtained at the College premises or downloaded from the official College website.

• Completed forms must be submitted along with photocopies of relevant academic credentials to the Admission Office.

2. Admission into NCE Programme (via JAMB):

• Admission into the College’s NCE Programme is conducted through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

• Candidates must:

  • Sit for the UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination).

  • Choose FCE Gwoza as their institution of first choice.

  • Attain a minimum score of 100 in the UTME.

  • Possess five (5) credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings of SSCE, NECO, or equivalent.

3. Bridge via Pre-NCE:

• The College offers the Pre-NCE Programme as a preparatory platform for candidates who may have deficiencies in their O-level qualifications.

• This Programme is designed to:

  • Bridge academic gaps,

  • Prepare candidates for the rigors of the NCE Programme, and

  • Help them meet the necessary entry requirements for further academic progression.
